Meet the minds behind ATHENA.

ATHENA was founded by two Chicago high school students in their freshman year: Nora Sun and Ana Cucalon. They had both noticed the effects of race and privilege-induced disparities in their STEM pathways and founded ATHENA with the goal of helping knit together these gaps by working with minority and underprivileged members of ATHENA's mother organization, Women In STEM.

How can ATHENA benefit me?

Every month, ATHENA holds numerous educational and informative events usually involving one-on-one interactions with successful members of STEM academia and industry. These events are always open to all ATHENA members.
