High School Experience
I tried to be a well-rounded person and learn more in all subject areas, but I guess my main academic focus was computer science. I did take AP/IB exams, and I got mostly 5’s and 4’s on them.
I took a few subject exams and mostly got 700+ scores.
I don’t want to list out my entire resume, but I did a couple extracurricular activities. My main focuses were computer science and journalism, so I was involved in clubs like Computer Team and newspaper, and I held leadership positions in both.
My relationship with my recommendation writers was generally good, but we weren’t exceptionally close or anything.
I didn’t really have an overarching theme with my essays; I just wrote about whatever I wanted to say or represented me best.
If I had to guess, probably my extracurricular activities.
I would say start practicing your skills early. For example, if you want to become a computer scientist, teach yourself how to program as soon as possible and use those skills to make project.
I chose this university because of the amazing computer science opportunities and how it will help me get internships.
