High School Experience
My high school experience was for the most part great! I enjoyed hanging out with friends at pep rallies, participating in clubs and organizations.
It wasn’t until my junior year that I started to realize I was really interested in science and math classes. That’s when I started taking more advanced math classes and computer programming classes.
My relationships with teachers were for the most part pretty strong. The teachers I chose to write my recommendation letters I have known for a long time, so I felt confidently enough to ask them to write a letter for me.
I think what made me a strong applicant was my determination. Based on my grades and hopefully the recommendation letters, I think that everyone could see how determined I am to complete my work.
I would say don’t lose track of what you want to accomplish. There will be many distractions along the way, but you have to find a way to stay focused to accomplish your goal.
I actually did not plan to attend this university at all. My college advisor just told me to apply 4 days before the application was due. I ended up getting accepted and found that it was the perfect university for me.
